AGO Instrumentation
The baseline instrument complement for each AGO will be as shown in the Table, although the design of the
infrastructure has been such as to allow future expansion. During winter 1992 and 1993, A77 has a fluxgate
magnetometer and riometer in operation. The test-bed at Halley additionally has the first prototype photometer.
A few Gbytes of geospace research data are recorded annually together with a small over-head for meteorological
and house-keeping data using optical disks.
