| The objectives are to investigate particle heating and acceleration caused by waves in space plasmas; to investigate the propagation of waves in space plasmas; and to compare theoretical and computational results with ground based and satellite observations. The work will focus particularly on whistler mode waves, electromagnetic ion cyclotron (EMIC) waves, and LF/MF/HF auroral noise and auroral hiss. ***Richard Horne may wish to add to this section.*** |
