Single fluid modelling of macroscopic plasma processes

A numerical model is being developed that simulates the transport of energy and other physical quantities within geospace. It solves the magnetohydrodynamic equations of mass, momentum, energy and magnetic induction conservation using a Flux-Corrected Transport finite difference scheme. To date, 1-D and 2-D versions of the model have been tested.
