The main objective of the Theory and Modelling Programme is to develop and maintain
simulation codes for research with the three science programmes
(WAVE, SMITE and
TIMA).
There are three codes at present; HOTRAY for ray tracing,
V1D1 a new plasma simulation code based on the Vlasov equation,
and a single fluid MHD code.
