The small gifs below are hyperlinks to clickable maps that give the locations of the manned and aws (automatic weather station) stations:
Some station names are not plotted if there is not space. Earliest first. The maps are clickable. Links lead to station information and then onto meteorological data.
We also have tables of manned stations and AWS s, listing the station names, locations, periods of operation, operating nation, etc.
If you're interested in AWS's, you'll want to look at the U Wisconsin pages: (External) http://uwamrc.ssec.wisc.edu/aws/ , for example the (External) 1995 table of ID numbers .
